Ah, i thought that's what you meant by your message about "the root".

I've known "duplicate" to mean 2 copies, "triplicate" to mean 3, etc,
and would mildly prefer `trip` over `dup3`, etc.

That said, i'm not much inclined to have cases beyond 2 in base, anyhow ☺
