You're using an old Planet.hs file. You can get the new one in
[your-ghc-6.4dir]/libraries/GLUT/examples/RedBook/Planet.hs or
download it here:
http://cvs.haskell.org/cgi-bin/cvsweb.cgi/~checkout~/fptools/libraries/GLUT/examples/RedBook/Planet.hs?rev=1.4;content-type=text%2Fplain
