Not sure how much of this is already known, but thought I'd mention it just
in case...
Both Wikimedia and chongqed.org maintain a spam domain blacklist:
http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Spam_blacklist
http://blacklist.chongqed.org/
And there is Wikimedia extension that requires users to pass a captcha to
make edits, but it only works with Wikimedia 1.6+:
http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:ConfirmEdit
(I've never made an edit to the Haskell wiki, so for all I know there might
be a captcha system in place already).
Again, sorry if this is already common knowledge.
