Incidentally, I believe there's a bug in my change to Decoration that
removes overlapping windows, in that it doesn't seem to remove *all* the
overlapping windows, but instead leaves two overlapping windows.  I haven't
had time to look at it, but it's pretty annoying on my laptop, because the
result is that whenever doLayout is called, I get a flashing effect, as one
of my non-focussed windows is moved to the top.  :(
