What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Enabled java console in control panel.
2. Run a web page with a java applet
3. Console window opens up but stays entirely grey

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I want to see the content of the java console. Interestingly,

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

xmonad-0.7.20080820, xmonad-contrib darcs 20080823, ubuntu hardy

Please provide any additional information below.

Killing xmonad and running another wm makes it appear.
