[Xmonad] keybinding not working after update to xorg-7.3

I reported something in Debian bug #435748 a month or so ago - on
upgrading xkb-data, some of my modifiers stopped working.  I reverted my
xkb-data package and things work fine; maybe that will work in your
case.
