funny: the Almighty Monad

Hi all,

Next time someone asks you "What is a Monad?", just point
them at this page:

My favourite quote is:

   "in the letters of the Christian Platonist Synesius, 
    God is described as the Monad of Monads."

For those who can't be bothered looking, the page is
part of a Catholic Encyclopedia, and it describes
in much detail some rather interesting aspects of the 
word Monad that I didn't know before. Its even quite 
insightful.
