[Haskell-cafe] forLoop + strict State monad is much faster than foldl'

because the events are on millisecond and microsecond scales, yet the means
are being reported on the order of seconds.

This is a strong piece of evidence the the claims therein are fundamentally
wrong, confusing and misleading and wrong.
