GHC 6.8.1 on Mac OS 10.5 Leopard (Intel) - Configure fails

Install "gmp" from MacPorts.  That will make the configure error go  
away.  (The installed compiler will not use the MacPorts gmp; it is  
just needed during the installation.)

I have no idea who maintains ghc in MacPorts, if anybody.
