Thanks for the pointer. I still get the following error, when I do gmake.

It seems ghc-inplace has some problem:

> sh-2.05# ../../ghc/compiler/ghc-inplace -c Adjustor.c -o Adjustor.o
> sh-2.05# ls *.o
> ls: *.o: No such file or directory

What might be wrong?
