 Well, you can check what `"ld command"` is on the respective `settings`
 files (e.g., `/opt/ghc/8.2.2/lib/ghc-8.2.2/settings` and
 `/opt/ghc/8.4.1/lib/ghc-8.4.0.20171222/settings`) to be sure (in my case,
 it's `ld.gold` for both).
