 So `-fsimpl-tick-factor=100` fails, but `-fsimpl-tick-factor=104` works?
 If so, I'd suggest just increasing the number.

 There is nothing magical about 100, it was just a finger stuck in the air.
 It's a little surprising that it takes more effort than before, but I
 doubt it's worth forensic investigation.
