Hello Iavor,

I’m sad to you see leave, and you will leave an hole in the committee.
I have always greatly valued your particular perspective on these
matters, and fear that it will be underrepresented in the committee in
the future. We’ll need to keep “what would Iavor say to this” in the
back of our heads from now on…

50 months is an impressive time to spend on a project like this, and if
interests shift and it becomes less rewarding than it used to be, then
stepping down is the right step to do. Should you ever change your
mind, I’ll be happy to see your name on the ballot!

Cheers, and looking forward to see you at a conference at some point,
Joachim
