Also note that when debugging is on, tests that call
`compiler_stats_num_field` are currently skipped
<https://github.com/ghc/ghc/blob/master/testsuite/driver/testlib.py#L305:L308>.
This applies to almost all tests in `tests/perf/compiler`.
