 There's another use for -framework-path that I just thought of: Apple
 provides old versions of the system frameworks, e.g. on my 10.4 machine I
 have `/Developer/SDKs/MacOSX10.3.9.sdk/System/Library/Frameworks/` which
 is not searched by default.
