I managed to hack a fix by adding
"--extra-lib-dirs=/usr/lib/ghc-6.12.3/site-local/split-0.1.3" to the
end of the "runhaskell Setup configure" line in the PKGBUILD but I'm
afraid I don't know what the "real" fix is.
