 By the way, what BuildFlavour are you using?

 now requires LLVM 3.6.x"

 https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=796343 says:
 "arm64 has some (many) problems
 with older llvm such as the currently Debian default one.
 I tried to reproduce this (really nice) bug report, and I succeeded
 with llvm-3.4, 3.5 and 3.6."

 What's the best way of building GHC without LLVM?
