In fact I was just reading

when I found your mail.

alain at keitai-kun:~/.config/xmonad$ Error: Can't open display:
xmonad --recompile
XMonad will use ghc to recompile, because neither 
"/home/alain/.config/xmonad/build" nor 
"/home/alain/.config/xmonad/stack.yaml" ex
ists.
XMonad recompiling (forced).
XMonad recompilation process exited with success!
