Indeed, that's how it's supposed to work (as long as I understood your
email). It's a bit hard in the beginning because it's something new,
and of course we are all used to that.

I encourage you to learn how this work, and why it works that way. I
guess it's possible to change the behaviour, but I think it'll turn
into a problem later.

Also, can you explain with an example which is your desired behaviour
and how it's working right now?
