I think I can still reproduce this (or a similar) bug in xmonad 0.10. If I  
move the mouse cursor to an empty screen, for example, that screen doesn't  
get focus (launched applications will show up on the previous screen). The  
workspace focus only changes when entering a window or with keyboard  
shortcuts.

I use xrandr with NVIDIA's proprietary drivers.
