Attached is a patch to make xmonad try to read its data directory from an  
environment variable XMONAD_DIR. This lets xmonad be used on systems with  
unusual configurations for /home, such as the 'noexec' option or a  
network-mounted filesystem.

If the environment variable is not defined, it will fall back to the  
existing logic.
