I solved it, my fault, sorry.

I had xmonad installed before setting the xinerama use flag. Even though I  
remerge/recompiled everything with xinerama support set, the default  
~/.xmonad/xmonad.hs managed to remain untouched due to faulty gentoo  
installation process. The thing to do was simply xmonad --recompile.
