I watched this seriously now. For this I made xmobar as simple as possible.  
I let it
consist of the text only and removed all other parts from it. The crash  
happens when
the text changes, this means when Xmonad writes on stdout, but not at the  
first time.
I guess it's related to the length of the text or a specific character.
