What steps will reproduce the problem?

When using an xmonad standard key binding with a minimal gnomeConfig
xmonad.hs to change workspace the new workspace is not properly
highlighted in the workspace switcher display.  Including
ewmhDesktopsLogHook in xmonad.hs solves the problem.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

xmonad 8.1 (?), Ubuntu Jaunty
