[xmonad] Possible to change location of xmonad.hs?

xmonad only looks in ~/.xmonad/xmonad.hs, though an option could be added, 
the symlink or hardlink option works fine:

I generate the links (for everything in the directory) with the following 
script, run in the source (backup) directory:

> pwd=`pwd`
> for x in *; do
