What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Get fresh version of xmonad and XMonadContrib from darcs
2. Compile and install
3. Run it

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Successful run is expected, instead I see:

xmonad-i386-linux: internal error: PAP object entered!
     (GHC version 6.8.2 for i386_unknown_linux)
     Please report this as a GHC bug:  http://www.haskell.org/ghc/reportabug

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
xmonad from darcs, on Ubuntu 8.10 with ghc 6.8.2

Please provide any additional information below.
xmonad successfully compiled and ran for several weeks before the last
fetch from xmonad
