What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. eddit xmonad.hs to make xmonad use the following layout:

simpleDeco shrinkText myTheme ( HintedTile 2 0.03 0.5 TopLeft
XMonad.Layout.HintedTile.Tall )

where

      myTheme = defaultTheme
                 {
		, decoHeight = 18
                 }
