Issue 129: ClassLayout.description type signature is wrong
http://code.google.com/p/xmonad/issues/detail?id=129
New issue report by andrea.rossato:
The type signature of ClassLayout.description, presently layout a ->
String, makes layout composition at the class level impossible.
There are cases where the Layout choice must be done within the X
monad. In
this cases the composition of layout descriptions will loose all the choice
information.
Since the description method is presently used to match a given layout,
composition at the class level breaks the current design.
There are 2 solution:
1. change the type signature of description to layout a -> X String
2. using something else to match layouts.
The second one seems the worse in terms of coding effort.
