I don't think this is entirely true. You also need to take into
account that, since we are working on the same code, everyone needs to
understand what the others are doing.

Then there was the unfortunate code freeze, due to the fact that many
of us had a very busy agenda and could not find the time to do all
that pre release work that must be done. Do you want some evidence?

xmonad --version

I believe that once we can sit down quietly and discuss about the code
a good solution will be found.
