What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Turn NumLock on.
2. Pop up an XPrompt.
3. Type something.
4. Press Ctrl+U.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
All text before the cursor should be erased. Instead, a box glyph appears.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Current darcs.
