When starting mplayer in fullscreen mode (mplayer -fs), the video 
window doesn't
appear.  As above, I have to go to window mode (press "f") and back to fullscreen
mode (press "f" again) to see the video.  The fullscreen window is not 
hidden behind
existing windows.  I'm using MPlayer dev-SVN-r23605-3.4.6, xmonad-0.4, 
Xorg 7.2, and
FreeBSD 6.2.
