I see that you left out the patches relating to receiving ClientMessage
X events for the EWMH interaction (e.g. messages from the gnome panel
pager).
The only way for a contrib module to receive these messages seems to be
a LayoutModifier, but the problem I’ve hit was that the message is
handled once per workspace, instead of once globally. Also it is not
clear to me if I may modify the WindowSet from the handle function.
Do we need another user-configurable hook for broadcasted messages or X
events? Or how else should I implement that properly?
