What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. open urxvt with -fade 40 option 6 times, so you have 6 windows
2. be in tall lay out,
3. switch between windows with the keyboard watching the 4th one, if you are like me, you will see it flicker bright, like as if it had gained focus for a short amount of time.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
that it wouldn't flicker

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I'm on debian linux stable with proprietary nvidia drivers
