Apologies, line 162 in the patched script/confhc which now reads

    GHCDIR=`${whichGHC} --show-package std --field import_dirs`

should be 

    GHCDIR=`ghc-pkg --show-package std --field import_dirs`

Could you be more specific about what problems this causes?
