Proposal: removeDirectoryRecursive should not follow symlinks

Hello *,

I'd like to hijack this discussion to bring attention to two IMO
strongly related tickets filed against directory which could benefit from
some feedback/comments:

 - removeFile and directories and symlinks to directories #3
