URI handling code

I recently placed my revised version of URI handling code in cvs.haskell.org:
   http://cvs.haskell.org/cgi-bin/cvsweb.cgi/fptools/libraries/network/Network/
and
   http://cvs.haskell.org/cgi-bin/cvsweb.cgi/fptools/libraries/network/tests/

Today, I see that the new URI specification upon which it has been based 
has been approved for publication as a full Internet standard:
   http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/uri/2004Oct/0012.html
