That's a strong claim, and I think you need to justify that more.  You
may be getting there, but I don't think you're quite there yet.

(In particular, there are several design decisions that I'm sure will
be controversial once people get around to arguing with it; e.g., your
reuse of functions currently in the standard Prelude.)
