[jhc] Strange error message when using Parsec

Hi,

I'm trying to use jhc with Parsec. However, while reimplementing some 
Parsec.Token functionality, I've encountered a strange error message. I've 
created a hopefully minimal example (see attached).

The error message for this particular version (using the latest version 
from darcs or the 0.7.7 release):

jhc -flint -p parsec-2.1.0.1 -o parsec-error.jhc parsec-error.hs
jhc 0.7.7 (0.7.7-14)
