Succesfull compile of Hugs on Mac OS X

A few years ago, I compiled Hugs under the Tenon Mach based BSD (UNIX)
which runs under MacOS pre-X, and in those days Hugs also had X-Windows
support, which also compiled without any problems.

So if Hugs still has X-Windows support (I don't know), what you can do
under MacOS X is to get hold of some of the X-windows available (there is
one pricey commercial available by Tenon, and a public domain Free-BSD),
and check if it compiles under those. (I do not have MacOS X, so I cannot
do it.)
