[Hugs-bugs] MacOSX install problem

Hi Rich,

Which version of Hugs are you trying to install? The Nov2002
release was the last official release to compile reliably on OS X.
However, the darwinports system successfully compiles the
20041101 snapshot and I recently received a report that the
20050224 snapshot built successfully as well. If you are trying
to install the Nov2003 release, I suggest using one of the above
snapshots instead.

To get the 20041101 snapshot you could install darwinports
(http://darwinports.opendarwin.org). Then building from
scratch would just involve

	sudo port install hugs98-devel

Remember to add the darwinports binary directory to your PATH
if you take this route.

Best Wishes,
Greg
