Here's the easy fix to your problem:

  Send a detailed question to an appropriate mailing list.

For example, you might mention whether you use Windows or Unix, you
might say whether you're having problems installing a Haskell compiler
or you have a successfully installed compiler (which can currently run
other Haskell programs) but having problems running a particular
program, you might include details of what you are trying to do, what
you tried to do, what you expected to happen and what actually
happened, and you might include a small example program which
illustrates the problem.

And, of course, the choice of mailing list will depend on whether
there is anything Hugs-specific in what you are trying to do and on
whether it is a bug in Hugs (hugs-bugs) or a question about how to use
Hugs (hugs-users).
