Just checked and my Mandrake system has libreadline4 only and the hugs rpm
I installed works, so you could try the mandrake 7.2 hugs rpm. (Go to one
of the mirrors from www.linuxmandrake.com to download st.) Hugs is
entirely C code, so the differing C++ ABIs/libraries shouldn't be an
issue. (Just don't blame me if it don't work :-) )
