[HOpenGL] Problem with Glut

Hi

Not sure if this will do the trick, but you might have _two copies_ of the package installed over the top of each other.

You often have this problem if there is a local copy for a specific user and a global, system-wide copy.

If I remember correctly, I think I used the command

ghc-pkg unregister <package name>

to de-register a package (You might need to type in the full version number of the package that you wish to de-register)

You can use

ghc-pkg list

to see which packages are installed, first.

I don't know the "correct" way to go about installing packages, but I always do a

sudo cabal install --global <package name>

That way I don't end up with local and global duplicates overlapping and cause me and ghc confusion.

Hope that helps.

Mark
