[HOpenGL] standard opengl z axis reversed in hopengl ?

hi,

I thought the z axis increases towards the user. but

  translate (Vector3 (-0.2) (-0.2) (-0.2::GLfloat))

translates a bit towards the left, down and *the user*.

Is it the standard opengl behavior ?
