I've just made a quick test of the RC on Solaris with ghc-5.02, and it looks fine, except for one thing: StdDIS doesn't seem to take the fact into account that Char is now a 16bit Unicode thing for ghc. So there should probably be some castCharToCChar/castCCharToChar interspersed into the right places. Left as an easy exercise for the inclined reader... ;-) Cheers, S.
