Hello All,

Today , we had our biweekly HF working group call to celebrate the recent successful launch, as well as identify things we need to do going forward in order to keep our momentum up. We've had an incredible amount of positive and negative feedback in the past few days (both good things!), and one of the most frequent points fed back to us has been that people overwhelmingly want to support in any way they can. Especially when it comes to volunteer efforts!

So, without further ado, I'm happy to announce we're starting a new track Volunteer On-boarding track to heed the call. Let's break down what that means:

* We will meet biweekly to decide how best to construct the processes that will both on-board volunteers, as well as point people in the direction of projects they can commit their time and energy towards.

* We'll figure out how to handle individual donations, and construct a tier plan for individual financial donations

* We'll construct a "Haskell Improvement Process": a lightweight RFC protocol for users, where they can submit new ideas and have them acted upon by the Haskell Foundation.

Meetings will be open to the public, and be done via Jitsi so folx don't have to have a google account to join. *We welcome anyone, but be warned: this will involve actual feedback and actual work! We will have concrete meeting agendas, and meeting minutes will be made public.*

If you plan on being a regular member at these meetings, please send your emails directly to contact at haskell.foundation and mention this track. Otherwise, or I will post the Jitsi link the night before each meeting. It will be deterministically bi-weekly, at the same time every two weeks.

Cheers,

Emily
