A Ph.D. fellowship on functional programming language technology for
high-performance deep probabilistic programming is available at the
Department of Computer Science, University of Copenhagen.

Application deadline: January 15th, 2020.

Two Ph.D. fellowships are available on *deep probabilistic programming* (DPP)
at the University of Copenhagen. The aims of one of these is to
advance *functional
high-performance computing* for DPP. This includes, but is not limited to,
contributing to novel functional language and compiler technology for
differential programming/automatic differentiation; domain-specific
language design for programming with probability distributions and sampling
from them; generating high-performance vectorized multicore or GPU code;
and applications to deep learning, Bayesian inference and probabilistic
programming.

Application deadline:* January 15th, 2020*.
