SCOPE=20
The annual Brazilian Symposium on Programming Languages (SBLP), sponsor=
ed
by the Brazilian Computer Society (SBC), aims to provide a forum where
researchers, educators, and practitioners can present and discuss the
fundamental principles and important innovations in the design, analysi=
s
and implementation of programming languages and systems.
We invite authors to contribute to SBLP 2003 with the following kinds o=
f
submissions:
- Technical research papers introducing original research results on=20=
topics such as (but not limited to):=20
* Programming language design and implementation=20
* Formal semantics of programming languages=20
* Domain-specific programming languages=20
* Visual programming languages=20
* Programming languages for mobile, WWW, and network computing=20
* Script languages=20
* New programming models=20
* Theoretical foundations of programming languages=20
* Teaching programming languages=20
- Tutorial proposals on subjects related to programming languages, APIs=
,=20
tools, environments or theories, at graduate level.=20
=20
There will be also invited lectures and working meetings to group=20
together professionals interested on specific research topics.=20
IMPORTANT DATES
- Deadline for submissions: February 14th, 2003=20
- Notification of acceptance: March 28th, 2003=20
- Camera-ready version: April 17th, 2003=20
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Contributions can be written in Portuguese, English or Spanish.
Papers should have at most 14 pages. All papers will be published=20
in the conference proceedings. Tutorial submissions may be in the=20
form of a proposal. The final version of a selected tutorial should=20
contain at most 30 pages and will be published in separate proceedings.=
