I don't see any significant difference:

~ via C v14.2.1-gcc via λ 9.10.1
❯ cat hello.hs
module Main where

main = putStrLn "Hello!"

~ via C v14.2.1-gcc via λ 9.10.1
❯ ./hello
Hello!

~ via C v14.2.1-gcc via λ 9.10.1
❯ time ./hello
Hello!
./hello  0.00s user 0.00s system 85% cpu 0.003 total

~ via C v14.2.1-gcc via λ 9.10.1
❯ cat hello.c
#include <stdio.h>

int main () {
   printf("Hello");

   return 0;
}

~ via C v14.2.1-gcc via λ 9.10.1
❯ ./hello
Hello!

~ via C v14.2.1-gcc via λ 9.10.1
❯ time ./hello
Hello!
./hello  0.00s user 0.00s system 72% cpu 0.004 total
