[Haskell-cafe] Increase GHC stack size?

I'm using
ghc --make...

-rtsopts seems to be a link directive.

The GHC docs seem to be project oriented. What's the two step process to
compile and link a simple .hs file?

ghc source.hs (to compile)

link step?
